Awesome set of trails. Pete’s and the jump track were highlights but even the goanna loop is fun and flows well. Made several visits this trip and will be back again.
Great mountain bike trails. Worth looking into the network on something like TrailForks in advance or having access to it while you ride, as parts aren’t very well signed and can be easy to get a bit lost.
Love trails but I am a novice and you can ride during in the day and night with lights.
Saw an orange furred wallaby with a Joey in the pouch
Mostly Unattended facility, you may use track anytime.
Spacious parking area. Easy to access to MTB track or cycling drom.
Went all up and up through the back trails. Tough 20klm ride with how washed out it is from recent rain. Some bridges have fallen but the trails can go round. Fun ride
Great bunch of trails for continueous riding for hours on end. Could be better. Some of the less travelled trails are over grown with lantana, others are rough and in need of a proper grooming. Plenty of potential for more trails to be built.
Don't bring a cheap bike here expecting a great experience. Riding Nerang requires a decent full suspension machine, and I strongly suggest padding up. Knees, elbows, full finger gloves and clear glasses for bugs and branches. Good quality lid goes without saying.
Fun trails, not crowded at all - even on a long weekend, could do with clearer trail markings and maps, as first timers we got a bit lost trying to find the correct routes to the top of sections.
As far as MTB trails go, there are some of the best right here! Unfortunately they're not very well signposted, despite constantly checking in on Trailforks that we were going the right way we found ourselves in near head-ons. Surprising since they only just hosted the Commonwealth games.
We went with a guide (Corey) who was fantastic and really patient. My family and I loved it and would definitely recommend Corey for anyone wanting to explore the trails.
Nice trail and single track for MTB. Too bad the CWG trail have not been maintained, but good overall. Rocks everywhere.
